New Delhi [India], May 3 (ANI): IndiGo on Saturday issued a travel advisory after bad weather conditions over Jaipur impacted flight schedules and operations. The airline said it is closely monitoring the situation and working to minimise inconvenience to passengers.
'Bad weather over Jaipur has impacted flight schedules,' IndiGo said in its advisory.
The airline further assured passengers that all efforts are being made to ensure safe and smooth travel amid the disruption.'We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly. We request that you stay updated on your flight status on the website or aap,' the airline stated.
IndiGo added that its teams are assisting passengers at every step as operations are adjusted in response to weather conditions.
'Please be assured that our teams are here to assist you at every step and provide full support. We look forward to clearer skies and a swift return to our regular schedule,' it said.
Earlier on Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that India is likely to witness a mixed temperature pattern along with wetter-than-usual conditions in May, indicating that rainfall across the country is 'most likely to be above normal' at over 110 per cent of the long period average (LPA).
Rainfall is expected to be favourable across much of the country, with normal to above-normal precipitation likely in most regions. However, parts of east and northeast India and east-central India may receive below-normal rainfall. (ANI)
